Had a good day at the Heeley Festival yesterday. Lots of people there and even a couple of showers didn't dampen spirits. All sorts of people from all sorts of nationalities and walks of life. My personal favourite was the guy with dyed red beard and dreads carrying a bong in what looked to be a flight case! We also had a bit of a giggle about the woman who we thought was asking about our CDs and received the whole of our sales pitch and then said "No, I said where are the cream teas?"
There was lots of interest in our personalised CDs. We sold quite a few and came away with some orders too. Most of the orders were for quite unusual names - Mila, Maliha, Maya and Yafeu-Tor. I suppose it must be difficult for parents of children with unusual names to find personalised gifts. We are able to record our songs to feature any name - at least we've not found one yet that we couldn't put into our songs! All of the orders we received yesterday will be recorded today and in the post tomorrow morning.
If you have bought a CD from us recently, we would be very grateful if you could spare us a couple of minutes to give us some feedback. We now have a review section on our Facebook page and would love potential customers to be able to see what people think of our CDs.
We also have a Facebook store where you can purchase Button Music CDs. If you visit our page and click 'Like', you will get a 5% discount. We have other offers on from time to time too.

Lazy muso talk
February since the last one. How slack are we?
Loads happened since then.
The Birthday Cd- that difficult 2nd album- has been up and running for months now and while we've hardly been rushed off our feet sales wise, the feedback has been even more positive than the bedtime one, and from people whose opinion I value. So having got the equivalent of a Simon Cowell nod, we have been working feverishly on our leave your dignity at the door Xmas offering. It is more jokey than the previous two and preys on that greatest of weapons for parents at Xmas-the threat of not getting any presents if you don't behave yourself. It is weird playing Christmas songs in June but I need to crack on if I am going to finish it in time for Tesco's first selection boxes appearing on the shelves. Hope you listen to the birthday cd at www.buttonmusic.co.uk
Xx
